Elementary Ministry

Kids on Main is what we call our ministry for infants through 5th grade. Our Elementary Ministry, Main Street, includes children in 1st-5th grades. We believe we must invest in our children and seek to equip them for the journey of life by providing them with a safe place and by teaching Biblical truths in fun and age appropriate ways. We also offer small group experiences where we believe transformation happens best. We provide a variety of opportunities, like Bible study, worship and mission initiatves in order to help children grow in their faith.

Sunday School: It's our most exciting hour of the week! Elementary students participate in worship, while the Bible story is creatively taught by our team of actors in a large group setting. Lessons are then reinforced in small group environments. Parents are provided with weekly take home sheets which enable and equip them to teach and talk about the Bible lesson at home throughout the week. (Sunday 9:45 a.m.)
Mission Initiatives: Our Missions programs help children understand how they can serve others and share their faith. They also inform children abouth those who serve around the world telling others about Jesus. Our Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action groups provide mission education and hands-on missions experiences for 1st-5th graders. (Sunday 6:00 p.m.)
Choir: Worship is an expression of faith. We provide choir for 1st-2nd grades and 3rd - 5th grade. (Wendesday 6:00-6:40p.m.)
Disipleship: Becoming more like Christ is essential for faith development. Our Bible Skills classes help 1st - 5th graders navigate the Bible, memorize scripture and become more Christ-like. Bible Skills is offered in two age goups: 1st-3rd grades & 4th-5th grades. (Wednesday 6:40-7:15 p.m.)
