It is said today that the most influencial time in our children's lives is between 3 and 8 pm. Children who are pulled by the whim of every kind of persuasion possible have sometimes been dealt a fatal blow to their young lives. This blow may not manifest itself for ten, fifteen or twenty years at which point, many hours are needed to reclaim the innocence of what has been lost.
Therefore, to rear a child in today's world takes total involvement, I mean really concerned for the inner and outer well being of the child. To have that inner concern one must express and truly live the Inner mission verse in their hearts: Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart and with ALL your soul and with ALL your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.@ (Matthew 22:37-39)
We believe that with loving discipline the children can enjoy themselves and at the same time learn to take responsibility for their actions. Our hope is to help children make the right decisions by putting the Lord first in everything they do.
